Paola marks 400 years with a concert in St John's Co-Cathedral

Casal Nuovo: Echoes of Four Centuries tells the town's story through music and Maltese prose on 9 October.
Paola's 400th anniversary is marked in Valletta on Friday 9 October 2026 with Casal Nuovo: Eku ta' Erba' Sekli, a five-act concert at St John's Co-Cathedral.
Presented by the Soċjetà Filarmonika Gran Mastru Fra Antoine De Paule, it honours Grand Master Antoine De Paule, who founded the town once known as Casal Nuovo, and traces its story from early days to the community of today.
